About the ‘offer’

For the purposes of the Free MOT for Football Association Wales Red Wall members, a ‘current, fully paid member of the Red Wall’ means someone who has paid their two-year subscription to the FAW and are in possession of a valid membership number – to be confirmed on the MOT booking enquiry form and presentation of your FAW App – at the point of handover of keys for the MOT. You will also need to bring your driving licence to verify your identity.

The MOT is only available on cars. Motorbikes, quad bikes, vans, for example, are not included in this offer.

The car must be registered in the same name as the FAW Red Wall Member’s name and driving licence, and you may be asked to provide your V5 documentation.

Annually 1000 free MOTs are available to FAW Red Wall Members, these are available on a first come, first served basis.

Members can only receive one free MOT each calendar year.

Current lead times for MOTs is 6-8 weeks, so please do complete the online reservation form with plenty of notice.

MOTs will be carried out at our Bridgend, Cwmbran and Swansea showrooms only. MOTs for this offer are not available at our Cardiff site however, we will offer you the nearest location.

If the car fails its MOT, we can advise on next steps and re-tests are free but must, in accordance with legislation in England and Wales, be conducted within 10 days of the car failing the MOT.

Fair usage

The offer is subject always to fair use, as set out below.

The offer can only be used by the person registered with the FAW as a current, fully paid, Red Wall Member.

For the avoidance of doubt, sharing your Membership is breach of these Conditions and any attempt of misuse of a Membership by someone other than the Member will result in notification to the FAW.

The offer benefit cannot be sold, loaned or given away or used by a third party.

The offer benefit is subject to availability and FAW Red Wall Membership does not entitle priority booking – FAW Red Wall Members should book the MOT early to avoid disappointment.

We may make changes to the offer

This offer will run until terminated by us, which may occur at any time. We make no promises or guarantees about the continuing availability of the programme. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any time.

Disputes

These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate English Court, and the parties irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such court.

If we reasonably suspect that you are engaging any form of fraud or misuse of this offer, we may, in our sole discretion, cancel or suspend distribution of any benefit.
