New MG4 electric Hatchback Will Launch in 2022
At Nathaniel Cars, we like to keep on top of the latest news about electric vehicles (EVs). Our last EV newsflash was about the EV Charging Action Plan for Wales. While that spoke about adding new electric charging points in Wales, this announcement teases the launch of a brand-new electric car on the streets of the UK.
A new EV Arrival For MG
As winners of the MG UK dealer of the year five years running, as well as MG Global dealer of the year 2017 and 2018, we’re the South Wales MG dealership that knows what they’re talking about.
So, at the end of February, we were excited to see that MG had shared a brief teaser about something big coming!
MG4: The New 100%-electric Hatchback on The Block
It’s offical, a new MG electric car will be heading to British shores in 2022. Details are few and far between but it’s rumoured that MG they’ll call their new 100%-electric hatchback the MG 4.
They’re keeping most of its 4.3 metres under wraps (literally) for the moment. But they teased that they’ve developed it with UK and European drivers in mind and that it would premiere at the end of 2022.
We may only get a brief glimpse, but from what we’ve seen, it already looks like a stylishly sleek newcomer in the EV market.
A New Addition to the Award-winning Family
We couldn’t be more excited about the award-winning MG family growing its numbers with a new 100%-electric arrival.
This new hatchback will join the MG ZS EV, which was voted the 2022 DrivingElectric Car of the Year, and the MG 5 EV, which won ‘Best Value EV’ at the WhichEV Awards 2021.
MG hasn’t given an exact date for the grand unveiling, but it’s scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022. As soon as we hear more about pricing, range, battery and performance details, we’ll let you know.
