There are reported sightings of the new Mitsubishi Outlander in the Midwestern United States. The SUV has been camouflaged with a busy pattern of white swirls on a black car. Through the busy camouflage, people have been speculating what the new Outlander looks like.

Some say the redesign is long overdue. The Outlander hasn’t had a major design change since 2012. Many people believe the new design has similarities to the Engelberg Tourer concept car. With the prototype covered in camo, the details are difficult to see. However, a Russian car expert website has taken photos of the camouflaged prototype to create an educated guess at what the Mitsubishi Outlander 2021 will look like.

The bold new design looks to include silver accents on the bonnet and around the deep-set headlights. One design element taken from the Engelberg Tourer concept car is the floating roof. The sides have a sleek scallop that blends into the door handles and extends to the taillights. The prototype looks to be larger than the current design which may provide more passenger room.

We will have to wait to see what kind of power the engine has. The 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander should be an attraction at the major car shows like the Geneva Motor Show and New York Auto Show next year.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander is expected be released for sale in the fall of 2020. If you desire a stylish SUV, don’t wait for 2020! Visit Nathaniel Cars today to see the great options we have available to you now.
